The Tenner, A Resin BJD Body Upgrade for 10" Tonner Child Dolls

In 2014, DollyCraft's first limited edition offering was a custom designed resin ball jointed body to fit the heads of Robert Tonner's 10 inch classic child dolls such as Ann Estelle and Linda McCall. We named it the "Tenner".  This body is meant to replace the original vinyl one and provide the full range of movement that only a ball jointed doll (BJD) can do.  The design of the Tenner was the result of a collaboration between three doll collectors (Roberta Regnery, Andria Pinson and Claudia Jarratt) and doll artist, Berdine Creedy.  Great attention was given to every detail such as matching the color of the resin body with the vinyl color of existing heads. This project was done with the full knowledge and approval of Robert Tonner but in no way represents him or his company, the Tonner Doll Company. The creation of this doll body was simply a labor of love mixed with a big dose of admiration for Robert Tonner's delightful dolls.
